| | Disneyland Paris - Tower of Terror
Winning pitch for the website of the new attraction in Disneyland Paris, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
| August 2007 Website |
![]() The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, more commonly known as Tower of Terror, is a drop tower thrill ride at Disneyland Paris. When the website was designed, the attraction itself wasn't finished so we had to imagine the website from scratch. These drafts defined the concept and look & feel of the actual website. |
![]() The concept was to stick to the story of the hotel, adapted from elements of the television series "The Twilight Zone", when in 1939 an elevator cart full of passengers disappeared to the Twilight Zone. |
![]() The idea was to recreate the hotel online as if it actually reopened. The bellhop is the central character of the attraction so it was logical that he became the key figure of the website. |
![]() The terror photo booth was one of the numerous elements of this experiental website. People could take a picture of themselves or upload a picture and have it deformed as if they had been passengers of the doomed elevator. |
![]() Then their picture could be part of the Terror gallery, one of many rooms of the virtual Hollywood Terror Hotel. Made at BETC Euro RSCG. |
